Re: Spline Lube

Me dealer told me the early input shafts had a problem. The splines on
the input shaft/clutch were subsequently redesigned. The upgrade
requires replacing the input shaft and the clutch. The old parts are not
compatible with the upgrade parts. My dealer also said a replacement
clutch plate is available for the old shaft with a smaller id to
compensate for shaft wear. That option just delays replacing the input
shaft.
