RE: Heated Grips

Bill,
We have a Tool and Die Department at my work, so the drilling is not a big problem if I can tell them exactly what I need. If I take off the bar end weight and remove the tube that's inside, I can see that the handle has a blind pocket about two inches deep. I assume you just drill straight down the center from the open end of the pocket? Any recommendations on hole size? Also I read some installation instructions on the IBMWR site and it said something about a screw for the left grip. Is there another hole that needs to be drilled and tapped?

When I installed mine, I had to drill the bars.
I chucked them up in a lathe and used a long bit.
Any machine shop should be willing to help you out for a small fee.
