RE: BLOW UP driveshaft!

David, thanks for the info. I'm told a new out put shaft is $200. I'm trying to decide if I should let the bike sit till I get the
money (might be awhile) or put it back on the road. Maybe take the car off the road and do just the bike. Did that for quite some
time (Tampa Bay)
<sigh> I don't know. I'm one of best, most reluctant wrenches out there. I bought this bike thinking I'd NEVER work on it. Money
has been an issue time and again. I'm wondering what would really happen if I just ignore this ever so slight wobble. Maybe they all
have SOME wobble in them?
See now if we had a winter down here this would be much easier to decide! Though the summer is so hot, you can't ride with gear.
Maybe now is the best time to let it sit till I can fix it.

'Cause the service manager called me up and said "Once we got the swing
arm off, we started the bike to see if the tranny was OK, and we could
see the end of the output shaft wobbling around. And we could just put
the new driveshaft on there, but we won't warranty the repair."
