RE: Front brake pads rattle



Dean,
It could be either 1) the (new) pads rattling or 2) the rotor support
buttons having worn slightly.

If 1) then the tire shop may have used pads without the wire (spring?)
arrangement through which the pin (that you can see on the calliper) passes
and which offers support against rattling.  It may be my memory playing
tricks on me but I believe some have removed the wire arrangement off the
old pads and re-riveted them to the new non-OEM pads.

If 2) and the play is only slight I would just live with the noise which
usually occurs when pushing the bike backwards.
