Re: Batteries

I could not be happier with the Odyssey battery I put in my '00 GS. It doesn't leak when the bike is on its side, and it usually gives a very strong start. The one complaint was a single cold-morning start, in sub-freezing temperatures, where it cranked over slower than usual. But it still caught.

John,
I bought the new gel-battery and I am not satisfied with it. In the second
year of its life it looses charge in a few days, 2-3 days, so the ABS (which
you don't have) will not engage. The old acid batteries of BMW were much
better. Next time I'll try an acid battery again.
