Last year Major WWWobble and I went looking for fall foliage a few times. Lots of pictures were taken, but not many of colored leaves. This year WWWobble commented that if we start early we might have better luck. Perhaps.
Rich joined the two-some on a ride that started in Muir woods. The Major had never been through Muir woods, surprising for one raised in the Bay Area. When asked why he mumbled something about not stopping when you are on a motorcycle zooming by. After Muir Woods the three photographers had lunch in Stinson Beach, then visited the Marin Headlands for more picture opurtunities.
Lost of pictures of red: Red bridge, redwood, red iceplant, red something growing on rock, etc. Just not many yellow/red foliage pics. In fact, NO red/yellow foliage pics. There were, of course, a few pictures of a yellow bike.
Maybe we’ll do better with Fall Foliage II, whenever that should happen.
