Mid-Week Rides: Blustery November Ride

Chris says:

After Marco and the Major ‘split’ at the Stripper Cafe (which had great Lumber Jack Soup and outstanding coffee [Don said the Hot Chocolate was superb]), Dick and Chris showed Don the free state-run ferry to Ryer Island - he was unaware. This was followed by a romp back to Hwy #160, over the Antioch Bridge and a circuitous path to Kerker Pass, Walnut Creek and IS# 680 where the three remaining riders split-up at the Crow Canyon Exit. Dick back to San Jose, Don to home and Chris Crow Canyon for Hayward Bay Bridge and home. Chris knocked-down 228 miles on the day. Chris’ wife reported that the radio was reporting winds atop Mt. Diablo had already hit 71 mph.
