Yep, had a CX500 Standard with a big ol Vetter fairing on it Bought it new
in 1980 ?????? A really neat bike. It was also sold in a Custom , sorta
Cruiser version, the Silverwing , a full blown touring version and in a
turbocharged version. I also believe it became a CX650 by end of life. One
of my favorite Hondas. Oh, and you forgot to mention that it was also liquid
cooled so the suckers really were long lived.
