Bob,  I'm sorry you are a member of the bad transmission group.  Mine is 
original and still shifts just fine (lucky!) though it clatters in neutral like 
all of them.  Sure, I'd like a six speed too but I'm going to wait for the 1200. 
 I don't want to wait 'til 2006...guess I'll have to rebuild the Ohlins after 
all!
