If memory serves me correctly BMW introduces new changes thru the GS
models. Then one by one those new intriductions are incorporated into
the rest of the line, It would seem to me that the R1100 cc 259 series
engines evolved into the R1150 cc engines on the GS, Sooooooo if the
trend follows all the R bikes will have the new 1200 cc Oil / Hex head
engine and trasmission. Our presant list will and should evolve as the
new models come along thus enlightening all.

One mans opinion.
