re Fuel Pump Noise

I fitted an external filter on my 1100GS, all works well, but fuel gauge now
only shows 4 bars when tank full. This also happened to a friend in Chiang
Mai who has an 1150GS. Its not really a hassle as when fuel gets below 4
bars, all works well again, and bars decrease as fuel goes down.

Just wondered if anyone else had same problem after performing the mod.
