Presidents,
This is the final Presidential List update before the big event. There's
new news, so read it all.
`Hoosier Bunny Too?`, the third bi-annual Skyline Chili Presidential
Lunch, will be held this Saturday, May 15, 2004 in the greater
Cincinnati, Ohio area. This is a rain or shine event. If it looks like
rain, dress appropriately.
This year's host dealer is BMW Motorcycles Of The Tri-State in Cincinnati
(http://www.bmwtristate.com). After gathering, gabbing and buying stuff,
we will ride to have lunch at Skyline Chili (at the Beckett Ridge
Skyliner north of the BMW dealer on Highway 747). You can see the
Skyline Chili menu at http://www.skylinechili.com/skyline_menu.asp .
The official motel for the weekend is the Red Roof Inn in Sharonville,
OH, I-75 exit 15 East Sharon Road - N39 16.196 W84 26.398. For you
locals and early-arrivers, we will assemble at the Sharonville Red Roof
Inn at 7pm edt Friday night and will ride to dinner at Hooters in
Springdale, followed by a trip to Graeter's for ice cream.
We will meet at BMW Of The Tri-State (State Road 747 north of I-275 at
4810 Peter Place - N39 18.923 W84 27.837) when they open on Saturday,
May 15th at 9am edt. We will leave for lunch around noon. After lunch
and group photos at the Skyliner, Entertainment Director Jill McCarley
will lead a ride south to Rabbit Hash, KY and Big Bone Lick State Park
for more commemorative group photos, so be sure to bring your camera.
Any Saturday evening activities will be planned at lunch to include those
who will be spending Saturday night in the area.
The BMW Motorcycle Owners Of Alabama, as part of the annual Rocket City
Rally, will be raffling a 2004 BMW 1150 Rockster (non-ABS). Tickets are
$5.00 and I will have them available in Cincinnati. Ticket purchasers
need not be present to win. I'm down to thirteen tickets and after that,
they're gone.
Cincinnati is ground zero for the cicada bug invasion, so bring plenty of
Plexus and paper towels.
