Yep... In fact I was so concerned that my mileage was so much more than
what others had spoken about that I posted a "how do you tell when
your tires need replacing" type question over on the BMWMOA list.
The only thing I can figure out after reading their responses is that I
must be a very slow rider on a light, low powered bike with a quite
stiff throttle and short brake levers who only rides on very smooth
roads after religiously checking his tire pressures daily. But, hey,
somebody's got to be a below average rider so the rest of you can be
above average, eh! : >)
The Z4s were squared off (especially the rear) when I changed out them
but still had legal tread left and the front showed some light cupping
according to the guy at Daytona BMW.
