Re: Exhaust Systems

When my '94 RS was a year old, I bought a Stain (sport) system for it. It's
still on the bike. I think I paid $500 for it new...a lot of $ then but
seems like a pittance compared to what they're getting for them now. I love
the throatier sound - not intrusive at all. Seat of the pants impression
was more midrange power, but I have no way to confirm that. Heat tarnishes
the lower part of the can, but an annual touch up with Blue Away and Simi
does a good job restoring the shine. To me, that shouldn't happen on a
system that expensive, but I do love the look and the sound...highly
recommended and worth the effort to keep it looking good. Let us know what
you pick.
