I would bet that H-D is searching for conquest sales just as BMW is doing.
Along those lines, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see them introduce a sport
touring bike with the v-rod engine. My guess is that it will be first class.
With Buell, they certainly have some knowledge of frames. Brakes will be
sourced from a world class provider. They know fairings as some of their touring
bikes already have very effective body work. They know bags...I've always thought
hinging top cases on the side as they do is an excellent idea.
That sounds like most of the significant aspects covered to me. I'd be
tempted.
