Both Haynes and Clymer's books are good to carry when travelling in case you
need to start a fire. They burn well. Beyond that, they are useless. Get a
copy of the BMW Repair manual CD for the R1100RS, install it in your computer
and print out a paper copy for the garage. The BMW manual is excellent and
doesn't contain all the misinformation that H&C use to fill their pages. They
have a gang of lawnmower mechanics writing that drivel.
