We should actually be very grateful to BMW. Tthe new bike is so ugly I think Our beautiful older bikes just became a lot more valuable. The only bike in the new line up worth even looking at has to be the 1200GS... and really the older ones beat it hands down in appearence.

Are we making too much of the appearence? Since any vehicle sits stationary about 99% of its useful like, I think the appearence is probably The most important consideration. After all, all those wonderful collectors bikes that are so coveted aren't being collect because they are mechanical wonders... If that was the case old triumphs and nortons would all be on the trash heap, and we wouldn't even remember what they looked like.

Did you pick you wife by how well she could pull a plow or how She made you feel when you looked at her?
