Sorry, I know this is late in the discussion, and I need to go back 
and read the previous posts, but my (overvalued) 0.02 worth is that 
those are two overdone, ugly motorcycles.

I've been on BMWs for 25 years, and I can tell you that BMW keeps 
giving me reasons to a) keep my RS, and b)*when* the time comes, 
replace it with some other brand.

This is strictly aesthetics.  At first blush, NOTHING in these two 
bikes' technical resume can get me past their appearance. 
Personally, I think David Robb needs a different line of work.
