All the successful BMW dealers I have seen, have been multi-line
dealers. The japanese bike dealers have the right idea, sell multiple
brands AND ATVs AND watercraft. The attention to detail may not be
there at the level of a good BMW dealer, but you know that the
dealerships will always be there to buy new bikes and parts from.
