Rocket City Rally - Memorial Day Weekend

The 17th Annual Rocket City Rally aka "The Great Chicken Rally" will be
held from noon on Thursday, May 26th through Sunday, May 29th (Memorial
Day Weekend) at Ditto Landing (N34 34.552  W86 33.474) near Huntsville,
Alabama on Hobbs Island Road (.25 miles north of the Tennessee River off
of US 231).

It will be Southern hospitality at its finest!  Three nights of camping,
rally pin, barbecue dinner Thursday evening, pancake breakfast Friday -
Sunday.  Smoked chicken every day all day, all night, all you want all
weekend.  Coffee, tea, lemonade, popcorn, peanuts while volunteers last. 
Door prizes, awards, vendors, seminars, field events and nightly
entertainment.  Demo rides will be available from Bogart's BMW.  Tour
Barber's Vintage Motor Sport Museum and Track, Jack Daniels Distillery,
Cathedral Caverns and great Alabama roads.  Nightly entertainment
provided by Microwave Dave And The Nukes on Friday night, Jim Parks on
Thursday and Saturday nights.  For additional information and map of the

Cost: Adults $35, children twelve and under $15.  Day Pass Saturday is
$15.  Also, please bring one can of food for charity.

Special: Win a new R1150R Roadster (non-ABS model) to be awarded at the
May 28th awards ceremony.  Motorcycle raffle tickets are $5 each and you
need not be present to win.
