Autolite 3923 washer

I'm doing a valve adjustment as soon the feeler gauges arrive in the 
mail, and figured while I was at it I'd take a look at the spark plugs.

If I need to replace them, I was thinking about trying the Autolite 3923's.

Do I use the washer that comes with the plugs or leave it off? :>
