You're welcome :-) I have to get back to some time-sensitive matters, but in
a few days, I'll post a follow-up message to this thread to describe a few
ABS "gotchas" that often surprise people who are new to bike ABS, and which
turn some riders off bike ABS entirely.
Oh, in my excitement to answer your original question, I forgot to express
how happy I am that you and your bike didn't get munched in your
near-incident. That's always good news, and it's worth celebrating.
