That, according to a trusted and extremely capable BMW motorcycle techician 
/ professional engine tuner / race tuner, etc. I have no data (i.e., a 
shake-o-meter reading) to prove or quantify this. This individual is the 
head motorrad technician at a large local BMW shop, has a dozen BMW bikes or 
so in the shop at any time, has fixed, tuned, and ridden virtually every 
roundel-bearer in recent memory, yadda, yadda. According to him, the R1100S 
doesn't vibrate just a tad more than other models, it's noticeably harsher.

Now, does your experience tell you otherwise, or are you just curious as to 
how I came to that conclusion?
