I love my '98 Cruiser. It handles like a Beemer, is comfortable for even
750 mile days. (e.g. Laconia, NH to Cleveland, OH via New York City.)
Whether accelerating or in the twisties, no problem staying with hot
rods like the V-Rod Screamin' Eagle, or other cruisers with almost twice
the R1200C's displacement. Besides, I get nearly 50 mpg; they don't!
Great bike... and just as much an Oilhead as the others.

I take it you mean the R1200CA? Even here in the SF Bay area where
we've got something like 6 dealers within 100 miles and lots and lots
of BMWs on the road I don't see many of the cruisers, although BMW
supposedly sold quite a few.
On the other hand the few that I have seen had lots and lots and lots
of miles on them and the owner or two that I've talked to sure enjoy
them.
