Re: Batteries

I had the same results with my 97 R1100RS. I went to a gel and returned to good old acid. The gel would not maintain a high enough voltage during cranking to satisfy the ABS.

John,
I bought the new gel-battery and I am not satisfied with it. In the second
year of its life it looses charge in a few days, 2-3 days, so the ABS (which
you don't have) will not engage. The old acid batteries of BMW were much
better. Next time I'll try an acid battery again.

Time for a new battery. What do we like these days?
