Tourguard Jacket size advice please

Hi,
      i have been offered a BMW Tourguard Jacket at a great price but i
would need to buy it untried size wise. 
It says BMW size 29 but i cannot determine how that equates to a UK size or
indeed any other size. I have been told that it is a uk 44-46 equivalent but
need some help before i buy.

Any DEFINITE advice would be very welcome.
