Before you take everything off consider what battery you are going to 
put it it's place. I use an Odyssey PC 680 and recommend it highly.  Not 
a stock holder or reseller am I.  Holds a charge well and can be deeply 
discharged.. Had mine to 5.2 volts and charged for a while at 10 amps 
and it came back. That was 3 years ago.  You will need the special 
bracket to easily make the connection to the bike.
