Considering that the hourly rate what dealership charges is about $95/hrs,
if the mechanic really did a thorough checkup, changed oil and filter,
checked all brake fluid-levels etc. they cannot really charge less than two
hours, even if the actual job did not take two hours. I am sure the time is
charged from the minute they touch your bike to the minute it's parked.
Further more I am also sure that the time you spend with the service manager
also has to be covered. That does not mean that to own a top-end bike is NOT
the
most inexpensive way of biking.
