This should help...

Mailing list content and subscriptions are managed by email messages sent to
special addresses. The addresses are: 

oilheads@xxxxxxxxx - used to send messages to the list. Only list members
may send unmoderated messages to the list.
 
oilheads+subscribe@xxxxxxxxx - initiates the subscription process. The
subject and body of the message are ignored. You will receive a return
message asking you to confirm your subscription request. You will not be
subscribed to the list until you follow the instructions in the confirmation
message. 

oilheads+unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxx - initiates the unsubscription process. The
subject and body of the message are ignored. You will receive a return
message asking you to confirm your unsubscription request. You will not be
unsubscribed from the list until you follow the instructions in the
confirmation message.
 
oilheads+subscribe-digest@xxxxxxxxx - initiates the subscription process to
the digestified version of the mailing list. The subject and body of the
message are ignored. You will receive a return message asking you to confirm
your subscription request. You will not be subscribed to the digestified
version of the list until you follow the instructions in the confirmation
message.
 
oilheads+unsubscribe-digest@xxxxxxxxx - initiates the unsubscription process
from the digestified version of the mailing list. The subject and body of
the message are ignored. You will receive a return message asking you to
confirm your unsubscription request. You will not be unsubscribed from the
digestified version of the list until you follow the instructions in the
confirmation message.

I wish I could help but I don't have a clue myself.  There are no
instructions.  It's much like when the toilets were stolen from the
police station... the police had nothing to go on.  Or the reason they
don't have ice at the University Of Alabama... because the fellow who
knew the recipe graduated (I attended Auburn).

Consider youself in the Hotel California.  You can check out any time
you'd like but you can never leave.
