Back in February I found a modified version of The Ultimate Spool Holder on Thingiverse and printed it out. This mod lets TUSH attach to the top rail of a Prusa i3. I used TUSH on the CR-10S and liked it a lot.

A few days later I designed and printed a filament guide that more or less matched the look of spool holder. I’ve been using it since.

One caution. At maximum height the spool holder will interfere with the carriage assembly. That is only an issue if printing something taller than about 200 mm. If I’m printing something that tall I’m more likely to be using my CR-10S.
