DR650 Sargent Saddle

Wednesday, Sep 24 2014 [178 miles]

The stock saddle doesn’t fit my butt. I’ve had good luck with Sargent saddles in the past. I’ll give this one a try. If it doesn’t work someone will get a good deal while I try something else.

The saddle on the bike. Sargent says that with the stock tank the final step should be to push the saddle fully forward before tightening the two mounting screws. That’s what I did.

I took a ride. And a nice ride it was. My leg position is more comfortable and I could tell the saddle was better before I left my block. Will it be good enough? I’ll need longer rides to know for sure. All is not sunshine and roses, thought. My ‘stich slides around on the new saddle more than it did on the stock saddle. It is especially noticeable when coming to a stop.
