I installed an Autocom Pro in 2000 and have no problems. The Procom
helmet speakers are excellent. The boxes reside in the tail compartment
of my RT. I bring the wires to my CD/radio under the seat and out
between the seat and tank. I tuck them back under the seat when not in
use. I used a fuse tap to power the transformer so I didn't need the 9V
battery. Make sure you get a good ground and tap the proper fuse. If
you tap a circuit with the ignition system you'll get lots of noise.
Just try several fuses until the noise goes away. AM radio will always
pick up the spark plug static no matter how good a job you do on
installation.
