Gary,
When I read your post I realised why I get to "like" my bikes more and more
as time and milage add up. Still have a way to go with both compared to you
though!!
Also there are some things lost in the "improvements" which, once you have
had them, don't want to do without or you don't want the innovation! I'm
thinking here of things on the RT like the ducted hot air away from the oil
cooler and the adjustable gear lever while new buyers have to have THE
brakes with their attendent service challenge...
