Battery Bothers

My dealer has just replaced the battery again on my '02 R1150RA.  The
original lasted 13 months (the warranty lasted 12), the replacement just
six.  In that time I rode very nearly every day, no short hops, not a lot of
idling in traffic.  In short, no good reason for early battery failure.
They claim there's nothing wrong with the charging system.  Anyone else seen
anything like this?
