Dan,
Does your Aeroflow windshield has a lip????
Mine has one and I do get a lot of noise.  I wonder if that caused by the turned-up lip on top of the shield???

  I have an Aeroflow on my '00 R1100R.  No buffeting, quiet, good hand
  protection.  I don't flip my face shield down until I hit 50mph.  The bottom
  half of the wind screen goes a little lower than the headlight, and is
  rounded, so it acts like a fairing.  I don't get a lot of wind on my legs.
