Bob,
My Aeroflow does have a sort of a scoop at the top of the windshield. If by
lip you mean some sort of attachment, no, it does not have one. Compared to
the stock windshield it is much quieter. I have no need of earplugs, and I
can easily hear the engine and gearbox.

Dan,
Does your Aeroflow windshield has a lip????
Mine has one and I do get a lot of noise. I wonder if that caused by the
turned-up lip on top of the shield???

I have an Aeroflow on my '00 R1100R. No buffeting, quiet, good hand
protection. I don't flip my face shield down until I hit 50mph. The
bottom
half of the wind screen goes a little lower than the headlight, and is
rounded, so it acts like a fairing. I don't get a lot of wind on my legs.
