If you just want to reset the error, the technique is as follows:
Locate the blue diagnostic plug under the seat and uncover it. Using a
piece of wire about 18" long, put one end in the center socket and hold the
other against something grounded. On my RT, I use one of the heavy bolts
down on the right side near the rear brake. While holding, turn on the key
and hold down the ABS switch for 8-10 seconds. When you release, the ABS
lights should have stopped flashing alternately and you're good to go.
If this happens repeatedly, check the gap of the ABS sensors and/or take it
to a dealer to check out.
Good Luck,
LindaT.

Well I need help again from you learned Gentlemen.
How do you cancel the fault in the ABS brakes on a R1100RT???? This the
first time I have ever had one.
BTW I decided to try the BMW gel battery and thanks for all your input.
Jack
