I took what I thought would be the last ride of the season today, but
it looks like the next one is to the dealer. After the usual bathroom
stop at McDonalds, the ABS lights didn't turn off when rolling. I
stopped the bike, turned off the ignition, restarted, and the same
thing happened. Once more on the ride the ignition was turned off,
and the ride resumed after an hour. Same thing. No ABS.
Are there checks I can make to possibly correct the situation, or is
this a trip to the dealer for sure?

Chuck:
How old is your battery? The ABS requires a relatively high battery voltage
to reset, and if your battery is not up to par, the lights will keep
blinking.
I recommend the Odyssey battery, available on E-Bay at a good price. Long
service life, and no defaults.
If you want to wait until spring to buy a new battery, you can still ride
your bike on occasion, by pressing the ABS button, which will turn off the
blinking lights. You won't have ABS, but the bike will function well,
otherwise. My "other" bike doesn't have ABS, and I ride it all the time.
