Hello All,
I don't know if anyone reported this: Cycle Canada, Canada's most popular
motorcycle magazine, known for their unbiased and unhyped reporting, had the
following significant BMW Motorrad content in the July '05 issue:
o Front cover: Full page picture of K1200R with title "NAKED FORCE.
BMW bares its fist with the K1200R". No other bikes on cover.
o Pages 24: 5 2/3 pages dedicated to an article on the K1200S.

BMW is now the top dog in a few categories, including the
narrowest 1200 cc four (narrower than a 600), and the most
powerful naked bike. It's noteworthy to highlight that BMW had
issues with the press-release K1200S in the way of surging and
drive lash. According to reports on production bikes, the fuel
injection is "flawless." (FYI, BMW had to redesign the combustion
chamber because remapping the FI couldn't resolved the issues).

It seems that every month, something good is being written about the newest
generation of BMW bikes. That's great news, now that BMW Motorrad is
rightfully shaking the "heavy and underpowered" image. Bravo BMW!
