Where are you located??
Montreal - Winchester is just over 900 km, I did it on bike twice.
Which is a shorter route??  I'll probably will ride the Skyline, Blue Ridge, Deal's Gap again and wouldn't mind shortening the ride on slabs.

   My brother and I want to ride the Skyline drive in mid Sept. and maybe
