Yeah I can easily push the muffler around and it doesn't seem to seal 
with the catalytic converter. I'll check it out and see what I need 
to do to fix that problem.

Try this, When installing a two brothers exhaust they included a tube of high temperature silicone,  I thought that was likely BS but I sealed it up with it anyway.
 
It did the job and when I had to remove the muffler for a wheel change it was still there and still working.
