Ah yes, it was just the usage: "My PO had a blown seal..." that threw me
off.  But I'm familiar with the phenomenon.   I'm in the process right
now of dealing with a pitifully abused R75/6 from a DPO.  "Who needs
gaskets when you can use silicon sealer? Stripped the transmission oil
plug?  Who needs Helicoil when you've got silicon sealer?" and so on.
