The filter you pointed to is $8.95 CAD, which is $8.03 US
Hammersley sells OEM filters for $11.62 US, and if you buy the less
expensive one, you net a savings of $3.59 US.
If you change your oil 4 times/year, you will save $14.36 US.

Wayne, you present that savings as being a petty amount...but consider this.
a good 12 pack is under $10.00 so for that amount you can get 17 beer units.
With only 4 oil changes that works out to 4 beer units per oil change, with one left over to accidently kick over sometime.
You MUST keep things in thier proper prespective...I'm not enjoying those 4 beer units when I out driving, cause the bike is being worked on, so that is also a big plus.
Humm ? Did I remember to put the drain plug back in??? time for another cold one.....LOL
