Garmin 2820 Question (or is this a problem only I would think of?)

Prezzes and Prezzettes,

I am looking to see if anyone has a solution for the problem (?) of 
having the end of the power lead (w/the contacts) loose when the 2820 is 
not on the bike.  My previous Garmin (SPiii) came with a little rubber 
boot that covered the contacts - and the 2820 has a LOT of contacts that 
I don't want exposed to air, water, etc.
