I have had this problem. Mine leaked from the input shaft seal on the
tranny and took out the clutch. The first signs of slipping will happen
at 5000RPM at full throttle going up a hill. Once that happens you have
some time to get it fixed if you are aware of when it slips and don't
let it happen too often. If it has not slipped and you can't make it
slip, in my book it's not broken yet. Especially if you can't even see
any external signs of leaking.

By the way you may not need new clutch, a wash with laquer thinner would
do the job. However once the whole thing is open.....
