Tire study
Kicking tires
Tires (and the kicking thereof) was one of the subjects of the after breakfast gabfest. Photographic proof that SMBC members really do kick tires.
The Gilroy Garlic festival did not cause any traffic hassles for those of us who took 25 to Cienega and meandered our way back to 101 for about a mile before taking 129 to Watsonville. No traffic at all.
Wish I could say the same about the ride to breakfast. CalTrans signs said 3 left lanes closed on 101 near the PGE substation. So if course I tried to keep right. The actual situation was ALL lanes closed with traffic funneled onto the LEFT shoulder. Lots of lane splitting got us to the restaurant about 40 minutes or so later than usual.
