Not for my bike
Markus came over to the house this afternoon with fresh tires to mount on his bike. The job is slightly easier using my tire changeing stand. While the wheels were off of his Africa Twin and the tires off the rim he installed a kit to seal the spoke nipples and allow his wheel to be used sans tube. The job could have been done by one person, but an extra pair of hands (mine) helped. Practice also helps. The 2nd wheel went faster than the first.
Cleaning
I only took a few pictures as the process was time consuming and the bike needed to go back together for Markus to get home. The wheels were modified. The tires installed without tubes. They seemed to be holding air pressure. I guess we did something right. Or at least right enough to get him home.
