I found an old sleeve of negatives, and they turned out to be from a 1988 Death Valley ride. I rode with Rich Rosenberg and his daughter, Darlene. Darlene was on her R65 (a surprise from Rich for Darlene’s birthday). Rich was riding his R90S and I was on my R100RT. On the way down, we made a side trip to Mono Lake and nearby Panum Crater - most of the pictures are from that area. Look closely and you can see local gas prices were in the $1.00 range. Good memories.
