Chris W got the boot in 2019. The poor guy was stuck with it for two years when Covid-19 caused the cancellation of the 2020 dinner in Gardnerville. That was the first missed ride to the Carson City/Minden/Gardnerville area in many decades.
Things were looking up this year for our annual gathering. Then came Delta… and the fires. Air quality in Gardnerville from the Caldor fire was beyond unhealthy. One-by-one most every membered cancelled their plans for the weekend gathering.
Chris was not going to get stuck with the boot for a third year. With the help of Rob H and Joe S plans were made for a dinner at Nick’s in Pacifica. In less than 10 days they got everything together. Rob reports 29 people attended. Todd took custody of the boot for the next year.
