And I've seen CHP officers mount their RTP's by stepping on the *right*
footpeg, while on the sidestand. I think the idea is to mount & dismount on
the side away from the traffic. The one time I was tempted to try it was
when back troubles made it essentially impossible to swing a leg over the
saddle, but it looked just too risky.
